Who we are
Our story…
In 2024, we enjoyed sharing our small flower crop with family and friends. It brought peace and joy along with surprise and gratitude. This year we prayed that growing flowers and offering faith-filled farm experiences would be God’s will for our family.
Since building our home in 2014, we have planted many seeds, trees and flowers in our yard and garden. We’ve planted during seasons of joy and found healing when we planted during seasons of sorrow. We can recall and often share stories behind every bloom purposely planted.
Now, new seeds with anticipated blooms are planted to be shared with you.
We are reminded each year of the first and earliest bloom gathered from the garden.
—one single bloom stretching its face toward the sun. It isn’t in a group or the showiest flower of the garden, but to us, it is everything. Admiration, a dream, a future.
That bloom isn’t just the start of a season—it is a whisper, sometimes I call this a God wink, reminding me that He brings life in His perfect timing. Proof that even the unseen work beneath the surface is never wasted.
The brave bloom that dons our kitchen table is often the first daffodil or hellebore of the season—humble, yet bold enough to greet the world.
For a day, it rests in a vase on the kitchen counter, where I pass by often, pausing to admire the details: the color, the design, the quiet beauty of God’s creation.
And in the evening, I carry it gently to my nightstand. It’s a simple act, but a sacred one.
This honorary bloom speaks of a changing season. A fresh start. A reminder that the garden begins not with abundance, but a symbol of faith with just one gathered bloom.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
—Galatians 6:9
We want to invite you to join us in this journey and look forward to making life long memories with you.
